Fear of Flying
More and more people come for hypnotherapy to help overcome flying anxiety. In my experience, there are three types of "fear of flying". There is the fear of crashing, the fear of not being in control and the fear which seems to be more a symptom of claustrophobia. Hypnosis can be extremely helpful and often helps to eradicate the fear completely.
Insomnia and sleep problems are often caused by stress and anxiety as well as many other individual factors. In most cases, insomnia can be viewed as a bad habit and like all bad habits can be unlearned and replaced with a good habit i.e. falling asleep easily and enjoying a proper night's sleep every night. Trauma & PTSD
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder [PTSD] is a natural emotional reaction to a deeply shocking and disturbing experience. In other words, it is a normal reaction to an abnormal situation. It was widely believed that PTSD could not be experienced after such events as bereavement, marriage problems, business problems/failure, conflict and work issues such as bullying and stress. It is now recognised that PTSD can result from any kind of shocking experience and is a natural emotional reaction to a disturbing or extremely shocking experience. In other words it’s a normal reaction to an abnormal situation.

Hypnotherapy is useful at helping identify and heal any emotional stressors that may impact upon a person's health. Visualisations combined with hypnosis can help boost the immune system.
Stress Anxiety & Panic Attacks
